Lakeview Behavioral Health Hospital offers mental health and substance use disorder care for United States military veterans. We work with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) to ensure that veterans receive the care they need without delay.
What Is the Community Care Network?
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Network (CCN) was developed in 2018 to provide military veterans with the behavioral healthcare they need by establishing a link to healthcare providers across the United States, including U.S. territories.
Through the CCN, military veterans can choose from highly vetted treatment centers, including VA facilities and other authorized providers near them.
Multiple third-party administrators (TPAs) hold contracts with the VA to develop its regions and ensure quality services. These include Optum Public Sector Solutions Inc. and TriWest Healthcare Alliance.
Optum
Lakeview Behavioral Health Hospital is located in Region 2 of the Community Care Network, so it is served by Optum Public Sector Solutions Inc., otherwise known as Optum.
Optum has held a contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs since 2018, allowing it to serve Regions 1, 2, and 3 of the CCN. These regions include the northeastern, central, and southeastern areas of the United States, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Navigating the CCN
At Lakeview Behavioral Health Hospital, we want to ensure that military veterans receive the care they need as quickly as possible. We’re here to help veterans and their families navigate the Community Care Network and understand their treatment options.
